How to join E-Groups

Department of Training & Placements communicates with students and faculty members through e-groups and a common SMS group.

SMS Group
Department of Training & Placements has created a common SMS Group for all the courses to share information related to placements with students. The name of the SMS Group is gndu_placement. By joining this group, the students can get the latest updates on their mobile phones.

Steps to join SMS Group:

Students can join this group online by visiting the following website : http://www.smsgupshup.com/groups/gndu_placement
OR
To join SMS Group from your mobile phone,
Type JOIN gndu_placement and send it to 567678.

E-Groups
For students, the e-groups are created course wise / year wise. e.g. if a student is studying in MBA and his passing out year is 2010, the name of the group will be gndumba2010. Through these E-groups, the students will be able to receive jobs and placement related information on their emails. So, all the students should join the E-group corresponding to his / her course and passing out year.

Steps to join :

Send an email to one of the email IDs as mentioned above according to your course and passing out batch.
Write "subscribe" in the subject line.
Write your Name, Class, Roll No. and passing out batch in the body of the email. We will verify this information while approving your request to join.
After our approval, you will get a confirmation email from Yahoo Groups to join this group.
You have to open that email and confirm by clicking on the required link given in this email.
